Office Visits The first visit will last approximately 90-120 minutes. This will give sufficient time for Dr. Alicia to get a comprehensive history from you so that she is able to best understand your condition and your goals for optimal health. If you have recently had lab work done, please bring a copy with you. Please go to Prosper Natural Health to complete the relevant forms prior to your first visit. Patients can plan on follow-up visits lasting approximately 30-45 minutes.
Please bring: * Your completed new patient forms. * Any pertinent medical records you have including recent labs or imaging reports. If you do not have these, you can have them sent by downloading and completing the records release form.
Telemedicine If you live long distance from the Puget Sound area, or simply do not want to come into the office, telemedicine visits are possible. At Prosper Natural Health, we use a HIPAA-compliant server that allows for private and secure video-chatting. By law, Dr. McCubbins may not be your physician or treat your condition without seeing you in person first. Your primary care physician should always be regarded as primary source of information about diagnosis, treatment, prescription drugs, and medical conditions. Telemedicine is not a substitute for in-person care. By scheduling a consultation with Dr. McCubbins via telemedicine without first establishing care in person, you agree that she is not your doctor, but your medical consultant. Likewise, you are not a patient, but a client. Call the office to make an appointment 360-385-5375. Click here to learn more.
To provide you with the highest quality of healthcare, Dr. McCubbins and Prosper Natural Health do not contract with insurance companies. The medical insurance system has created a healthcare system where the doctor-patient interaction is rushed and the insurance company dictates medical treatment. You will never experience this at Prosper Natural Health. This means that Dr. McCubbins does not bill insurance companies for the goods and services that you receive, and your payment is due at the time of service. We are happy to provide you with the necessary codes and paperwork to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. At the time of service, you may request a “superbill” which will have all the necessary coding information for your insurance carrier. Reimbursement rates vary, so please call your insurance provider to determine your coverage for a primary care physician who is an “out-of-network provider.”
